It is a quintessential summer indulgence and artfully marries the slight tartness of fresh plums with a golden, buttery sugar crisp topping. Ingredients
- 3-4 cups fresh plums, pitted and chopped
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chunked
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon for sprinkling and tossing in plums.

- Preheat the Oven

- Sprinkle the sugar flour topping evenly over the plum mixture. and top with the rest of the butter chunks, spreading butter chunks evenly over topping.
- Bake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the plums is bubbling, and the topping is golden brown. If there are spots that need it press with fork to fully moisten.
- Cool Slightly and Serve Warm
- Allow the plum crisp to cool for a bit before serving. It’s delicious on its own or topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
