Hearty plum sorbet

Ingredients

  • 6 ripe plums
  • 1/2 cup orange blossom honey
  • juice from 1 fresh lime
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1/2-ounce fresh ginger, minced

Directions

  1. Seed and chop plums.
  2. Place in blender with honey, lime juice and the water.
  3. Puree and then pass the mixture through a chinois and then fold in the ginger
  4. Place mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer’s specifications.
  5. Place in freezer until ready to serve.
