Ingredients
- 4 mahi mahi fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Lemon slices, grilled or not, for serving
- Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Directions
- Prepare the Mahi Mahi
- Pat dry the mahi mahi fillets with paper towels and place them in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag.
- Make the Marinade
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, coriander, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Marinate the Fish
- Pour the marinade over the mahi mahi fillets, making sure they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
- Grill the Mahi Mahi
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the mahi mahi fillets from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the fillets for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
- Serve
- Transfer the grilled mahi mahi fillets to a serving platter. Serve hot with lemon slices on the side.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or cilantro, if desired.
Note: If you prefer to bake the mahi mahi instead of grilling, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the fillets on a lined baking sheet for about 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through
