Directions
- Activate yeast: In a large bowl, combine warm milk, 1/4 cup of the granulated sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Prepare dough: Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt to the yeast mixture. Gradually add flour and ground cinnamon, mixing until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- First rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-1.5 hours, until doubled in size.
