2018
The Stillwater Ice Castles were open in 2018 from January 5th through February 28th. They were located in Stillwater’s Lowell Park along the riverfront.
My family enjoyed our visit to the Stillwater Ice Castles. I have never seen anything like this on this scale. The attraction is best seen after dark and features beautifully lit Ice Castles with maze like tunnels and surprises around each new turn. There were flame twirlers, a fountain, and several ice slides big and small. Lots to see. There was a concession snack bar where you can get hot cocoa for your walk through. I recommended winter boots in addition to winter outdoor clothing. Warmer nights can cause the paths to get pretty slushy.
You could buy your tickets online at www.IceCastles.com/Stillwater in advance. I recommended you do so as the wait line for walk ins can get very long and the most popular time slots tend to sell out.
Tickets were cheaper on the weekdays then on the weekends. Holidays are at the weekend rate as well. When I bought my tickets, I used this coupon code to save $2 a ticket: ICECUB18.
