  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

Icing

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. Prepare the Dough
    • In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
    • Add sugar, salt, eggs, and melted butter. Mix well.
    • Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
    • Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

    • Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle (about 12×18 inches).
    • Spread softened butter over the dough, then evenly sprinkle the apple mixture on top.
  3. Roll and Cut
    • Roll the dough tightly from the long side into a log.
    • Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Second Rise
    • Cover the rolls and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  5. Bake
    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Prepare the Icing
    • In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  7. Serve
    • Drizzle the icing over the warm rolls before serving.
