Week 29 personal care & beauty

“Taking joy in life is the best cosmetic.”
– Rosalind Russell

Week 29 with higher temperatures and increased outdoor activities, maintaining cleanliness and protecting your skin and hair are essential.

Start with skincare by focusing on sun protection and hydration. Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily, and reapply every two hours if outdoors. Incorporate lightweight, water-based moisturizers to keep your skin hydrated without clogging pores. Use soothing products like aloe vera or hydrating mists to refresh skin after sun exposure. Exfoliate gently once or twice a week to remove sweat and dead skin buildup, but avoid over-scrubbing, which can cause irritation.

For personal hygiene, shower regularly to remove sweat and bacteria, especially after outdoor activities. Use antibacterial body washes and breathable fabrics to prevent skin irritation.

Hair care is equally important—protect your hair from sun damage by wearing hats or using leave-in conditioners with UV protection. Rinse hair thoroughly after swimming to remove chlorine or salt.

Late July is also a great time to experiment with minimal, heat-friendly beauty routines, such as lightweight makeup or natural looks, to keep your appearance fresh and radiant in the summer heat.
