I don’t want to be a blossom, delicate and fleeting,
I crave steady bloom, with roots deeply meeting.
Not just a flash, a burst of color, fragile and bright,
But the steadfast growth that turns light into might.
I carry the strength to stretch out in the sun,
To be more than a moment, or a journey begun.
I don’t want to be a bud, just hinting at what’s new,
I want to unfurl fully, revealing every hue.
I refuse to be stuck with pollen and doubt,
Wishing for change without seeking it out.
Let me be no longer confined by unchanging views,
It’s time for unfurling, seeking skies bright and blue.
Growth isn’t about waiting for a perfect time to appear,
Instead, embracing each petal, shedding each fear.
Stretching beyond the tears and the limits, breaking free from the fold,
Embracing deep growth, my true self I behold.
Let me grow through the seasons, not merely be first,
For I don’t want to be a blossom and keep restarting in bursts.
Instead let me bloom fully unfurled with purpose and grace,
Not merely a fresh beauty that time made in haste.
