Ingredients

For the Dough

  • 1 3/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 3/8 cups warm water (110°F/43°C)
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons dry milk
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 3/4 teaspoons salt

Directions

  1. In bread maker, first combine the warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, or until it becomes frothy before starting anything up.
  2. In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients and toss together.
  3. Add dry ingredients to the bread machine with the yeast mixture.
  4. Run the bread machine on the pizza dough setting. (following your machine’s directions)
  5. When dough is ready, roll it out with flour and a rolling pin.
  6. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  7. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza stone or a baking sheet.
  8. Add your favorite pizza toppings.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
